car won't start after you have driven it
once you drive somewhere, car won't start again for an hour, doesn't matter how long or far you went, turns over but won't start and once you try it smells flooded
I'd start with your battery. 2001 is too old. Buy a new one- would have to suspect the ignition isn't getting clean power. Clean the battery terminals and the place where the other end connects to the chassis...will have solid power, don't forget the cable to the engine block as well....for a start~
battery has been changed out twice, not helping the problem. I'm thinking maybe some sort of sensor. The car always starts first thing in the morning to drive.
And I had the alternator replaced too.
Is not sparkin' when you smell the flood of gasoline. is this correct?
the reason I suspected the batt is because you ignition module is fussy and needs good ground to provide a solid spark, if the ground is weak ECU will go slightly "brown" and will not have reliable spark~
