Why it stands out
The 2022 Hyundai Sonata continues to impress in the competitive midsize sedan segment, particularly against heavy hitters like the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. Despite strong competition and declining interest in sedans, the Sonata remains appealing by offering exceptional quality, remarkable value, and an extraordinary warranty. The Sonata's bold exterior design is not universally praised but has certainly carved out a distinctive niche. Inside, the spacious cabin can comfortably seat five, and its advanced technology and safety features enhance driver convenience. The Sonata is equipped with standard advanced safety features like automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping assist, which are becoming essential in today’s market. Also worthy of mention is the Sonata N Line, which caters to those seeking a sportier experience with its powerful turbocharged engine and unique styling cues.

Nice smooth ride, plenty of power under the hood. But missing some comfort features comparing it to the Kia K5. Would still recommend the car though.

We got the Limited, the top trim line of the Sonata. We really like it. It is very comfortable, and all the cameras around the outside give wonderful situational awareness in either driving or parking. The backup camera is great in the daytime but doesnt give nearly as clear a view at night. We preferred the shift lever in our last Sonata, but the buttons are OK. The dashboard displays give a LOT of information, and we love the heads display. We looked at offerings of Honda, Toyota, and Nissan, but none seemed to have the features offered by this car.
