power windows will not go up
replaced both motors in doors, worked great for 3-4 weeks, no all windows won't go up. Is there a fuse or regulator that may run all these ? If so, where is it ?
Yes there is a fuse. Take the cover off the fuse box and hopefully there is a diagram showing what fuse goes where and for what, or maybe on the fuse box itself it's labeled. There are several other things however. Does it have a lock for the driver to control windows only? and switch mechanism, but you say all windows..very unlikely all switches would go bad at same time Start with fuse, and if you have trouble finding it Google you car with keywords make/model/year/trim and somewhere there will be a schematic. It may not be on the first page of sites, keep looking and scrolling, don't give up it's in there. My sister has a '99 Durango, the reason I attempted to try to answer you is because I am a bit familiar with the Durango and G/C
Thank you, we checked the fuses and they seem to all be okay, we can find on internet alot of people complaining about the window motors themselves, which we did replace already, but for all 4 to just stop all at once, lead us to believe its a fuse or regulator, or wiring of some sort.
