Replaced fuel pump kicks on for a sec but vehicle won't start

Replaced fuel pump and tank cause old tank
fell out due to rusty straps now it won't start

you hear it come on and prime the system ?are the injectors firing ? Properly grounded ? do you have spark ? something else may have gone bad by pure coincidence
