i have a 2001 dakota slt, that is leaking fluid baaaad especially when its not running...put on a new pump same results....could it be the power steering pressure switch?
put on a new pump...still leaks i took off the power steering pressure switch, cleaned it with break cleaner...still leaks ......HEEELP IM PUTTING MORE POWER STEERING FLUID IN IT,THAN I AM GAS
It's hard to tell but how is the steering rack?
BTW Great looking dog.
Where is the fluid coming from? The hoses, shaft seal, lid of res, ect. Got to locate exactly where it's coming from. A small inspection mirror would probably help to find this.
ty boho......not sure where its comming from but i did take it to autoz 6 months ago when the service engine soon lite came on and had them hook the box to it and it flashed a power steering pressure switch code.......
Is that a replacemet type part?
fixed it:) :) it was the o ring on the hard line that goes to the pump...ty guyz im sure ill be back in the future...hope not :)
Glad you got it fixed.
