My oil light comes on when I come to a stop. When
I hit the gas it goes back off

Oil light means low oil pressure. How many miles on your car. Might be a worn engine or your oil pump is going.

That happened to me, during an oil change I put some oil leakage stuff in and it hasn't turn on since.

mine was just an oil sending unit which was under recall - i have a 2001 sebring
