How is the fuel sensor replaced in a 1999 Crysler 300?

the fuel sender,or fuel level sensor is connected to the pump in the tank, the gauge in dash cluster seldom fails completely though possible

usually integral to the in-tank fuel pump (which they all are now because of terrible roll-over accidents) 1988 or so~

    My 300 runs out of gas at about a half tank on the fuel gauge. Someone said it is your fuel pump but my car runs just fine except it runs out of gas and only holds about 9 gallons to fill it back up.
