I have an 84 El Camino it runs fine in the first two gears as soon as it hits 3rd gear it starts missing I can't figure it out I've replaced just about everything

Check the fuel pressure and flow, you have replaced plugs, cap, rotor, plug wires with good quality parts right? Does it start missing imediatally when it hits third or does it wait a bit? Do you feel a slight bump then it starts to miss?
