The whole process was mostly virtual and automated. A couple of hiccups here and there, but for the most part it was a good experience. I would recommend this process to anyone wanting to sell their vehicle in a safe way.

I was not told a third party would be picking up my car, and they would have to rely on a Uber or Lyst to get my car... This should be told to the customer in order to set an expectation, which states, they may not be be able to come if they can not book a ride. So what happened to me, after I got everything done on my end, is the ride "fell through" and the third party person, was not apologetic at all. As a matter of fact, she was quite the opposite. stating it was not her fault, and while she was yawning, she stated she finally said, after I called her out - sorry. While yawning mind you. This is the problem of hiring 3rd party people picking up your car. They can blame everyone else and not take ownership of the problem. So, look into this person, who was the most unprofessional person, that was assigned to pick up my car first. NEVER USE HER AGAIN!!! She does NOT care.

Everything was great. All communications, the offer, setting up the sale. The scary part was seeing them drive off with your car while you are holding a check that will take several days to clear.

Thank you to all who helped me complete this sale including Ivan and the gentleman who showed patience during the signing plus the gal who took care of the pick up issue. Made this sale easier to complete.

Loan not paid off. It’s been over a week.

It would have been nice if we could have talk to a real person.

The only problem I had was that they had to change my the date of picking my vehicle because the driver could not drive a car with manual shift

All went well and smooth on vehicle pickup day. CarGurus' local rep kept in good communication with me, ensuring me that his arrival would be as scheduled. My only disappointment was that the original pickup day and time had to be cancelled/rescheduled but although I completed the online process and was given the date and time of pickup several days prior, CarGurus didn't notify me that they had to cancel my pickup until the day before, in the afternoon. After rescheduling my new pickup date and time, the vehicle had to sit an additional week/parked due to the lack of driver's in the area on the original day provided. CarGurus' should have known their pickup availability schedule prior to providing any date and time that wasn't feasible nor allowing several days to pass before realizing being shorthanded drivers and only contacting me the afternoon before to reschedule the vehicle pickup.
