Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 Grand Cherokee L stands out because it brings Jeep’s familiar blend of capability and premium features into a three-row package, with a broad spread of trims ranging from basic and affordable to luxurious and pricey. Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2024 Grand Cherokee L is described as a relatively new design with a wide range of equipment and configurations, so the ownership experience can vary depending on how well the vehicle was optioned and maintained. Its mix of comfort, technology, and Jeep capability should make it appealing, but used buyers should still pay close attention to trim-specific condition and service history to reduce long-term ownership risk.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the seller’s claims. Prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the SUV has more advanced equipment or higher-mileage use. Focus on overall condition, since the Grand Cherokee L’s appeal depends heavily on how well its comfort and technology features have been maintained.

What is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L's resale value?

The current average of $33,544 sits slightly below last year's $34,291.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully today, but it also means future resale will depend on how well the market holds up. If prices continue to ease, sellers may need to be more competitive to stand out. A well-kept example with strong equipment and clean history should still be easier to move than one with visible wear or a weaker trim mix.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $30,642, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $33,544 average.
• The 2023 emphasizes comfort and premium feel, with strong ride quality and handling.

The 2024 is the better all-around pick if you want the newer market position and a broad mix of available listings. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the more budget-friendly path and still gives you the same basic three-row Jeep formula.
