How much does the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 2,055 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Cost effectiveness.

It stands out as a sporty all-electric crossover with distinctive styling, ongoing improvements, and the ability to receive over-the-air updates and post-purchase upgrades. It also comes with standard advanced safety features, which adds everyday usefulness.

The trade-offs are a firmer-than-ideal ride and a cabin that relies heavily on the screen for climate control, which may not suit you if you prefer a more traditional setup.

With 40.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Mustang Mach-E is presented as a model Ford continues to improve, and its over-the-air update capability suggests the vehicle can gain features and refinements after purchase. Its standard advanced safety equipment and hands-free highway-driving availability also point to a well-developed ownership experience.

Ford also says the model can receive updates over time, which can help keep the vehicle feeling current. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the specific car you choose has been maintained well and still has healthy battery performance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and inspect the car closely, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one that has seen frequent fast charging. Pay extra attention to cabin controls, ride quality, and whether the software and driver-assistance features work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GT trim adds Ford Performance front seats, MagneRide suspension, and Brembo front brake calipers, while the Rally trim adds a 1-inch lift, unique suspension tuning, and off-road-oriented hardware and styling cues. The base trims are more focused on everyday use and do not get those performance-oriented upgrades.
• Powertrain: The lineup includes single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive setups, and the rear motor was revised for 2024 to improve torque and range. The GT Performance Upgrade can raise torque to 700 lb-ft while keeping horsepower unchanged at 480.
• Safety package: BlueCruise 1.3 is available, and the Ford CoPilot 360 suite includes blind-spot information with cross-traffic alert, pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, evasive steering assist, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control. A 360-degree camera is also included.
• Infotainment: You get a 15.5-inch portrait touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Ford’s SYNC 4A software with over-the-air update capability.
• Range & charging: The standard-range battery is 72 kWh, and Ford says DC fast charging from 10 to 80% takes 32 minutes. The extended-range battery is 91 kWh, and Ford says that version takes about 36 minutes for the same charge window. EPA range reaches 250 miles for the base rear-wheel-drive setup and 320 miles for the extended-range Premium rear-wheel-drive configuration.
• Battery health: Check the battery’s state of health, ask how often the car has been charged on DC fast chargers versus at home, and confirm how much battery warranty coverage remains. A used EV with mostly home charging and a healthy battery pack is usually the safer long-term bet.

Which 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E trim should I buy?

The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E is offered in 4 trim levels: Select, Premium, GT, Rally.

Here's the short version:

• Select: This is the entry point if you want the Mach-E’s core styling, tech, and safety features without paying for the performance-focused hardware. It makes the most sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the lineup.
• Premium: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it unlocks the longest range in the lineup when configured with the extended-range battery and rear-wheel drive. If you want the most usable everyday Mach-E, this is the one to focus on.
• GT: Choose this if you want the sharper performance setup, including the standard Ford Performance front seats, MagneRide suspension, and Brembo front brake calipers. It suits you best if driving feel matters more than ride comfort.
• Rally: This is the most distinctive trim, with a 1-inch lift, unique suspension tuning, rally-specific styling cues, and off-road-oriented character. It’s the one to consider if you want the most adventurous version of the Mach-E.

BlueCruise 1.3 is available across the lineup, and the 360-degree camera plus Ford CoPilot 360 suite add useful safety coverage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

This is a favorable time to shop if you want a well-priced used EV with a decent amount of inventory and a strong share of clean listings.

• Deal availability: 40.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,055 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,266, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E's resale value?

The current average of $32,013 sits slightly below last year's $32,056.

That small year-over-year dip suggests the market has been fairly stable, which is helpful if you’re thinking about future resale. A stable price trend can make it easier to estimate what your car may be worth later, especially if you buy at the lower end of the range.

Because the model has a broad inventory pool and a strong deal share, you may have room to buy carefully and protect your future value. If you choose a well-kept example with desirable equipment, you should be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E safe?

The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E earns a Top Safety Pick from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and five-star ratings in side crash and rollover testing from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

BlueCruise 1.3 is available, and it includes enhanced lane-change assist, lane-centering, and in-lane positioning. The Mach-E also comes with a 360-degree camera and the Ford CoPilot 360 suite, which includes blind-spot information with cross-traffic alert, pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, evasive steering assist, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control.

A useful safety strength here is that these features are broadly available, which helps the car feel well equipped even in used form. The main caveat is that you should verify the operation of the driver-assistance tech and camera systems on any specific vehicle you’re considering.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 40.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Ford adds a new Rally trim and key upgrades for 2024.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $29,853, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $32,013 average.
• It offers a stylish electric crossover with strong performance, technology, and utility.

The bottom line: If you want the newer version with the latest updates and a still-stable price trend, the 2024 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2023 is the more budget-friendly path and still delivers the core Mach-E experience.

How does the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E compare to the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV?

Expert Pros & Cons (per CarGurus review team)

2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E:

• Pros: Stylish design, Standard advanced safety features, OTA update and post-purchase upgrade capability.
• Cons: Uncomfortably stiff ride, Lacking physical buttons for climate control.

2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV:

• Pros: Great handling, Impressive technology, Available Super Cruise.
• Cons: Potentially polarizing design, No Apple CarPlay, Poor ride quality.

Our experts score the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E 8.5/10 and the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV 6.3/10. The Mach-E looks like the more complete package if you value style, standard safety, and the ability to update the car after purchase. The Blazer EV counters with available Super Cruise and strong tech, but its lack of Apple CarPlay and poor ride quality are harder to overlook.
