Used 2020 Chevrolet Impala for Sale nearAkron, OH

How much does the 2020 Chevrolet Impala cost?

Prices have softened 10.05% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 299 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Impala a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Chevrolet Impala earns a 4.88/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its performance, spaciousness, and value for money, and they also like the handling, engine performance, and interior comfort. That lines up well if you want a roomy full-size sedan with easy-to-live-with everyday usability and a lot of car for the money. With 27.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Impala reliable?

Owners rate it 4.88/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe the car as dependable and trouble-free in everyday use, and the model’s strong reputation for reliability supports that impression. The final-generation Impala also has a solid track record for long-term ownership, which matters if you want a used sedan you can count on. For used buyers, the main risk is less about the model’s overall reputation and more about finding a well-kept example with clean history and consistent maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Chevrolet Impala?

At 53.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, since accident history can affect both condition and long-term value. Put inspection priority on bodywork, alignment, tire wear, and signs of uneven panel gaps or repair work. You should also focus on overall condition and maintenance records, because a clean, well-cared-for example is the safest way to shop this model year.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Chevrolet Impala?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 299 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.05% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,926, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chevrolet Impala's resale value?

The current average of $13,998 sits slightly below last year's $15,562.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car more attractive to you as a buyer but may limit upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the best protection is to buy well, keep mileage reasonable, and maintain the car carefully. Strong condition and a clean history matter more when a model is already trending lower in price.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.88/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Chevrolet Impala or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.05% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.88/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, owner satisfaction, and current market softness, the 2020 is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
