The redesign includes modern technology like a multimedia touchscreen with app integration and a standard rearview camera. The Highlander offers robust engine options, notably a standard V6 that produces 270 horsepower, providing a blend of performance and efficiency (19 mpg city/25 highway with FWD). Safety remains a focal point, with several available features such as a lane departure warning system and a pre-collision system contributing to its recognition as a 2014 Top Safety Pick Plus. Overall the experience of driving the vehicle is fantastic. The higher seating above a sedan car makes this a pleasant ride in any weather enabling the driver to see far ahead when driving in heavy traffic. It has enough air bags to float a tank.

Our Limited AWD is a very solid car that we expect to drive for a long time. Very comfortable seats. The space is easily configured for people or cargo. Love the shelf under the dash!

Overall... excellent vehicle. Front row and 2nd row seats adjust to accommodate most drivers/riders. I did alot of shopping around before I made my purchase and what I found is that the Highlander is really the best value for the money. The interior is very nice... not cheap looking as compared to some other mid-size SUVs which were actually more expensive.

The car feels solid, that’s what I was looking for. The downside is that the seats are uncomfortable and the mirrors don’t fold in.
