WEST COAST TOYOTA: Unprofessionalism at its finest!!! This is my first review and I am doing it out of utter frustration because of how the floor manager at WEST COAST TOYOTA treated me. Completely unethical, unprofessional and deceptive treatment. "WEST COAST TOYOTA- Long Beach" is SLIMY dealership. I contacted them to know the availability of a used certified 2015 Toyota Corolla LE PLUS priced at $11,484 on TRUECAR.COM and CARGURUS.com. This dealership and the sales people will tell you anything to get you in the sales office. I fell into their trap and went in there for a test drive and discussed about the financing services. However, on the next day, I got a really good deal from DCU for financing the car. But when I went in there with the loan approved from DCU, they seemed disappointed and kept saying "I don't know...I just learned that we need to increase the cost by 1000 dollars". Another excuse that they put forth was- that day they had very low sales and selling out the car to me at that price would result in further loss. Hence they requested me to come in the next day. The very next day morning, I contacted them and found that the car is no longer available. Don't believe their lies. No exaggeration. Bottom line, I am not going back there. Looking for a reputable dealership near Long Beach.

Exceptional experience. Nice, friendly and completely low stress. They offered the best financing option and beat the financing we had obtained from an outside source. Tom, the GM was very courteous and Sandi and Chris we're great as well.

Took them a long time to respond via email every time I had a question and the car I wanted ended up selling because of it.

Since my initial review was rejected...... I have 2 trade ins. I asked the representative to take care of the majority of the preliminary information (credit, car values, etc) before I made the long trip with 2 trucks. She refused. I dont have to argue with anyone I would br spending thousands of dollars with. Since I'm having to write another review, their stars can reflect that.

I have mixed feelings about the dealer. I don't believe I would recommend to friends. We were helping my retired mom a used car. The person who returned my call pond us off to someone else when we got there. We submitted a finance app online which they said they never got. When we got there the car was not put aside as promised. The "Closer" who came to finalize the sale gave us bad and flat out wrong information. The monthly amount we agreed on changed because we were putting to much down so we had to reduce our down payment which increased our monthly. They didn't say anything until we got into financing. We were told the car had a owners manual in the glove box and when we got home we found out it was for a 2007 and we bought a 2012. All in all it was an okay experience. I accept some of the blame for not checking but I was stuck because my mom wanted the car. Bottomline know your facts.

I had an appointment to see the car,and they didn't have the car.

Car was advertised for $8,992. Called to see if I could see it and was told it was not yet available. Went on for 3 days. Suddenly on Friday advertised price went up by $1,000. Friday evening car was finally available to be seen. Had limited time so went and test drove. Max said he would hold keys so we could come back on Saturday to buy. At 12:30 recieved call that car was sold to someone else. We were supposed to be there between 3 and 4. On Friday I also happened to speak with another sales associate who said she would have shown me the car while it was still being detailed. Bottom line is car was not made available at the price advertised.

Called me excessively even when I emailed I was not interested

Started off very good by phone but when I got there the vehicle was not even after I talked to them the day before. No one ever called to inform me of that. Jessica who I dealt with on the phone was very pleasant, but the salesmen were very pushy!

Made an appointment to see a can that was sold just before I got there. The manager, Katie, should have told me that the van had sold prior to me driving 45 miles one way to see it. She tried to have other salesman help me but they were.pretry useless. Very unprofessiona and definitely not what I would come to expect from a toyota dealer!!!

Worst car buying experience ever. Uneducated staff. They allowed me to drive 2 hours to see a car they did not even have then tried to sell me a diff car. And I'll they can say is sorry

Their response to e-mail is VERY poor at the best. Their sales staff fail to communicate with each other and appear to not have a clue about customer service. Despite that they have a vehicle that I hope to test drive and attempt to purchase over the next few days

They advertise a vehicle with a very attractive price which they don't even have and then try to sell you something similar but not nearly as good of a deal. They are still advertising a vehicle which they told me "just sold" 2 weeks ago when I called. Classic Bait & Switch.
