95 mustang 3.8 When it is wet outside the parking lights come on and stay on and the power locks keep locking and un- locking until it runs the battery down. Any ideas?
Clean the black cable with a wirebrush end and connection to the chassis, really get it good and clean to the engine...what we have here is a grounding problem. errant currents will be neutralized instead of playing hell~
your battery is older than five and will not charge to full capacity anymore, it's time for a new one, may put a smiley day on this problem~
It's. Neither of the above.I thought I was the only one with this problem. Could be a a wire shorting out when wet.I never found the problem.it hasn't happened to me in awhile tho. When it did happen I cleaned the terminals and cables.I even went and had my battery replaced which was only 2 years old. Then it happened again.took the brand new battery in they exchanged it .they said it wouldn't charge and it was 3 months old. Good luck
a loose mounting plate is floppin' around inside your door like an elephant's trunk randomly engaging~
