2002 Boxter S..Charged my battery and tried to start the car. It didn't start but the spoiler came up. Changed the battery, but the spoiler won't recede using the up/down control button. 1 Answer

Rear spoiler will not retract using the control button. Also, installed a new battery and the battery light in the control panel is now lit.
