Front facia has severe scrap requiring a $1000 repair as well as driver seat shows a lot of wear on bolster. Does not deserve the premium price for a car that has possibly not been properly cared for.

The car can be driven every day in confort and with ease through traffic, but when in open roads reaching pass 3,000 rpm the exhaust sound changes and it accelerates with ease to 6,500 rpm in each gear. This car makes you look for twisting roads and the long way to get anywhere. This is an absolute drivers car that never fights the driver and behaves entirely predictibly. The acceleration is not neck snapping, but it is very satisfying at 0 to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds, but more importantly when you get to a corner you can stop on a dime or more importantly you can come up to a turn an litteraly break just at the turn then you can power through the turn and exit at roughly twice the posted speed of any mountain road in California. I would have never done this with my previous Mustang with a supercharged V8. It would be absolutely scarry to accelarate through a turn. The build quality is excellent, interior and exterior trim is without rattles and they feel solid. The styling is pure Porsche, clean, simple, timeless. The top can be operated at slow speeds in 2nd gear. The cost of owning this car for 4 years has been less than the cost of owning a Honda Accord or Infiniti for the same miles and years. Two full synthetic oil changes, two brake fluid changes, one new battery and new rear tires. Tires is the most expensive cost of driving this car. If you drive it the way it begs to be driven you will spend money on tires, but you will be happy to spend the money because it will put a smile on your face each time you drive it. The fun starts the moment you wash it which you can do quickly and be on the road to your nearest mountain road diner or you local Costco (Two trunks). No matter your destination it simply will make you enjoy your drive.

Great car, enjoy taking it out on the road. Drives smooth, comfortable and real light on gas. Interior very relaxing, excellent all round appeal. Holds the road well and a pleasure to drive on long or short drives, turns heads wherever it goes for sure.

The Porsche Boxster is a two-seat, open top roadster that occupies the position of entry-level vehicle in the Porsche pantheon. When introduced in 1997, it was Porsche's first all-new vehicle in almost 20 years, and naturally generated a lot of excitement in the period between its announcement in 1993 and its appearance in showrooms four years later. It was also an essential car for Porsche, since the German automaker was striving to keep up with its competition. The popularity of the Mazda Miata reinvigorated the market segment for two-seater convertibles, and the BMW Z3 and Mercedes-Benz SLK made that segment viable and boosted the competitive stakes. The Boxster gave Porsche a chance to wade into those competitive waters. For its first year, the Boxster came with a water-cooled 201-horsepower, 2.5-liter flat six-cylinder boxster-style engine (which indicates that the engine was installed horizontally). Also, as opposed to being a rear engine, such as in the 911, the Boxster's powerplant was classified as a mid-engine, since it was situated behind the driving compartment but ahead of the rear axle. In its early years, a five-speed manual transmission was standard in the Boxster, while an five-speed Tiptronic transmission was optional. The Tiptronic was an automatic transmission with a gate that enabled the driver to shift manually, depending on driving conditions. In 2000, the Boxster S, a higher-performance model, made its debut. Power was provided by a 250-horsepower, 3.2-liter six-cylinder, which was linked to a new six-speed manual transmission. The standard, or base, Boxster also received a power boost for 2000, to a 217-horsepower, 2.7-liter six-cylinder engine. Power was increased again in 2003, with the base Boxster getting a boost to 228 horsepower and the Boxster S seeing a bump up to 258 horsepower.
