Is auto any good I like manual

Never had auto before. Could I change it to manual?

Personal taste and driving style. I prefer a manual but my wife dislikes them. The automatics that were put in the Trans Am's are sturdy and will drive fine but, I think, this type of car is more fun with a manual. As for swapping, it can be done but it is more work than you think. Many parts require a change and all are not simple bolt on pieces.
