Hey guys, so my brothers car broke down and we were wondering what might be wrong with it. His friend told him it might be the ignition switch. My brother says he turns the key to turn the vehicle on, but it makes no noise. He called my dads friend who has some mechanical background, and he looked at the car and told him it may be the ignition switch that broke, which then put the car into alarm mode, shutting off the fuel pump. It's all very confusing to me, as I haven't seen the car in person and was hoping maybe you guys could help. Just as ill informed as I am, but I know you guys know your stuff. Thanks in advance!

I'd check the battery first. Put a multimeter on it and check the voltage.
