Left Back Turn Signal/Back-Up/Brake Light Out

Asked by Sunfirekid Jan 27, 2024 at 11:28 AM about the 2000 Pontiac Sunfire GT Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My left turn signal (in the back) and brake/back up light doesn't turn on. I
assumed it was the bulb but after replacing it, I've still got an issue. Is this a
wiring issue or a fuse? As far as I can tell, the back light fuse should affect both
lights but my right side works great. My front lights also work.

It sounds like all the lights in that corner are malfunctioning. That's likely an electrical ground issue or a burned out or corroded socket. Try to fix the ground, and if that's not it, you might need a new tail light assembly.
