then start working agine I replaced my
switch what else could cause this

could also be the flasher unit.

Needs a series 52 style flasher Good Luck

You will have a flasher unit for turn signals and one for 4 ways, so you are only having problem with just the turn signals just replace the turn signal flasher unit. It is round about an inch tall land even might say 52 right on the unit itself.

Some stores will call it a relay, but almost all car guys still know it as a flasher unit, even through it looks like a relay.
