Why would my traction and engine light come on and go off repeatedly?

Traction Control is tied to your antilock brakes. Not sure why it would be turning on when your check engine light comes on but work on the CE light first. Have the error code read by a shop and go from there. Fix the CE light problem first and then see if the TC light stays off. If not, look into a failing ABS sensor.
