I have recently replaced the chip on a 2005
Pontiac vibe.  Now I have to kick the glove box to
hopefully get the fan to move?. What do I need to
do

Which "Chip" was replaced?

The one by the blower motor

Double check make sure all wires connected and tight.

By "chip" do you mean the blower motor resistor? Like Auto_Centric suggested, check your wiring harness connection.
