Break Controller needed for 1990 Ford E-350 Econoline Club Wagon

Asked by NEBRASKADAD Aug 13, 2013 at 11:50 AM about the 1990 Ford E-Series E-350 XLT Club Wagon Passenger Van Extended

Question type: Car Customization

I need a cheap-as-possible break controller for pulling my trailer camper. From what I can
see, there appears to be no "plug" attachments readily available - can you advise?

get a pro to do it- you are dealing with powerful forces beyond your understanding

Don't mess with Safety - you and your vehicle aren't the only ones on the road. There are no plugs, you have to tap in to the brake light circuit, supply power to the unit, run wire to the back of the vehicle, properly wire the trailer connector - it isn't Rocket Science but it is a Safety Concern. Let a pro do it and enjoy your trip.
