every thing is fine for a time then without warning they stay on, have to disconnect the battery to keep the battery from running down

there is an electronic switch behind your brake peddle. when peddle is pressed down it hits this switch turning on your brake lights. this switch it sticking i might be able to clean it but will probably need to be replaced.
