Difference between Master key and Valet key?
I have a 2005 Sentra and AAA lost my master key once when I had it
towed. I still have the valet key, which does everything EXCEPT open the
trunk. I went to the dealer that I bought the car from, and had them cut me
a new master key from the VIN number. It still doesn't open the trunk, and
they're telling me it's because the lock cylinder in my trunk is now broken.
While I accept that as a possibility, I'd like to get a second opinion, and
wonder if anyone here knows the physical difference between the master
key and the valet key on one of these vehicles. The deal told me it's just
the thickness of the blank, and that it's the identical cut code. I'm not sure.
you hiding those gold eagles you got from the casino...the trunk is the place to keep them...the valet cannot get in~
believe the profile of the key has one extra pin on it~
