I ran out of gas and now the car doesn't accelerate. What could the problem be?

If you ran it completely out of gas its a bunch of build up around the fuel pump/ intank filter... There is a lot of crap floating around in a gas tank... Think of it like there's a lot of idk hair, fuzz,oil, floating on top of the water in a glass your drinking with a straw... Your technically drinking from the bottom up... And honestly how often do you let your tank run empty... So... There is 10 years of all that floating on top... If u run it dry lime if u was sucking the last drink... What's going to be in the way... Lol... Anyway your gonna have to drop the tank and clean the in tank filter. As well as the line filter.

I agree with Joseph but try the inline fuel filter first. That's what there, there for. Much simpler...

My car ran out of gas the battery died then the steering will is hard to turn what is going on
