Cannot reset oil life on 2019 C300 4Matic?

I just completed an oil change on my wife's C300 that we purchased used,
when I try to do an engine oil life reset using my scanner, it tells me this
function is not available, also on the scanner, service items also come up as
unavailable, following the instructions found here and elsewhere about how
to reset it using ASSYST PLUS through the dash menu, instead of getting a
menu item for FULL SERVICE, it immediately shows message of service
overdue.  How do I reset the oil life when ASSYST PLUS is unavailable?

If there is no information in the owners manual and you can't find anything online then the dealer will need to go in and do the reset. But you may have other issues going on with the menu.

I called the dealer and spoke to the Service Department and was told that Mercedes has changed the programing on their vehicles so that only the dealer can reset the maintenance messages by connecting the car to their computer. You have to pay for their service ($670 for the B service no my C300) in order to reset that service message. How do you say EXTORSION? They just lost a customer ... I will never own Mercedes again!
