Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,381 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.37% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,307, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class's resale value?

The current average of $34,307 sits slightly below last year's $37,854.

That price movement suggests the model has become more accessible in the used market, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, softer current pricing can mean less immediate upside, so condition and equipment will matter more when it comes time to resell. A well-kept example with desirable features should still appeal to shoppers who want a compact luxury sedan with a premium cabin.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.37% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $29,681, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $34,307 average.
• It offers a more upmarket redesign with stylish design and great ride quality.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market mix of pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the better value path, especially if you want a more affordable entry into the redesigned C-Class.
