Dear meg_d_a-- You obviously have an electrical problem somewhere in your 1997 Ford Expedition. Electrical problems should be dealt with by experienced professionals only. A good man could probably fix whatever is wrong very quickly. A less than acceptable mechanic could cause you heqadaches for years to come. I hope this advice helps. Good luck from Bovan.
