How do I get my truck moving again?

Asked by Robert Nov 28, 2022 at 09:53 PM about the 2001 Mazda B-Series B3000 DS RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I went to drive and it didn't move forward or
backwards. We rocked it back and forth then
took the tire off to inspect. Couldn't see
anything. When we put the tire back on we
kept trying to backwards and it slowly started
to move then started moving normally.

Any ideas

maybe seized calipers? check brake pads a d rotors for rust, I would personally check each caliper and see if it slides by inserting flathead screwdriver between pad and caliper and slowly push caliper back as far as it goes, apply brakes and see if caliper slid back (made contact to the pad).
