I have a 94 Mercury sable and the brake warning light won't turn off. Any one know what's going on or how to turn it off?

I have replaced the drums and pads
but it still makes a grinding noise for
about a block and half before it stops
but the warning light remains on

Front hub bearings or rear wheel bearings depending on where the noise is coming from front or back.
