1998 Mercury Villager has electrical problems. door locks will lock and unlock on their own?

BCM (body control module) must be re-programmed at the dealer~ think there is no way around that~ wish I could offer a more cost effective solution~ ...but there aint,~

there are technical service bulletins for this...meaning they are obligated to repair this~ http://www.mercuryproblems.com/tsbs/Villager/1998/

the battery should be NEW...undervoltages may have caused your problem...a tin/antimony battery such as yours will stop accepting a charge 10 percent per year (by Car battery guru Qureshi)~
