just had the garage replace my in tank
fuel pump and when I went to pick up
the car my engine light came on.  code
says there is an issue with the fuel
module or fuel service mod.  Is that
normal and if it has to be replaced
should I pay for it? how much is it to
replace?

So it turns out that the fuel sender module is part of the fuel pump assembly so I have to replace the entire fuel pump assembly. At least the place I bought the original replacement at is sending me a new one for free so all I have to pay for its labor a 2nd time.
