Pictures of where the intake air temperature sensor located on a 2000 mazda protege lx 1.6 liter engine?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am trying to locate the intake air temperature sensor on my 2000 mazda protégé lx 1.6 liter engine. I have taken it to two mechanics and neither could find it.

I bought the car part for the 1.6 liter engine. I talked to mazda directly, but they would not tell me where it was located at.

Anyone have any specific idea and/or actual pictures of where its at? I have looked on youtube and search engines and no luck.

Unless some one has done some tinkering it should be in the air intake tube just in front of the MAF sensor. Sorry no pic.
