In the market too buy a cheap winter
beater cause everyone is selling theres
cheap now that winter is over. I have a 5
speed manual trans 2wd 98 explorer
sport 2 door  (Clean as Shi*) that im
about too purchase  for 350$ and build
for a winter truck. ***********seeing as
its NOT 4wd  i would like too know if
anybody knows or knows how too tell if
the truck is rear or front wheel
driven**********************************.
The car has a seized engine so i cant tell
by driving. i have a 5.0 engine im
dropping in it this summer and a staged
racing clutch and some big mudder tires
on A 4" lift kit led headlights and a 5 light
led lightbar and bullbar (and a 3 foot
american flag). Shes gonna be a beast.
clean as hell. anyways i gotta put my
d*ck back in my waisteband so nobody
sees how excited im getting. drive
domestic. support america. F*ck foreign
cars eat meat not vegan. run prius's off
the road watch nascar, chew grizz and
drink busch lights merica. thanks

Just look under it. If you see a drive shaft that goes into the rear pumpkin, then it's rear wheel drive.

1998 explorer is a rear wheel drive vehicle.

1998 ford explorer comes in 4 wheel drive and 2 wheel drive the 2 wheel drive is rear wheel drive
