Temp on my 2010 dodge 3500

Why does the Temp on my truck fluctuate causing my heater to blow out cold
air? Also when temp guage goes up to 245 and then comes back down heater
will work for about 2 min. then starts blowing cold air again?

That sounds like you are low on coolant.
