When my pickup hits a bump going 65 mph the left side goes into a dramatic
pounding.  I replaced the ball joints but it still happens.  I have worn tires and
will put on new ones tommorrrow.  Any other ideas ???

Make sure your steering damper is in good shape. If you don't have one, install one or two if you have big tires.
