2003 Lincoln LS WILL turn over, but WILL NOT START, please help?!?!
I replaced the Ignition Coil Packs because 2 were bad, so I went ahead and
replaced all of them. I started the car to see how it was running and it
started right up, and sounded the way it should sound. I let it run for maybe
5 minutes. I killed it. Left for a couple of hours to get a tire replaced.
Replaced the tire. Tried to crank it, and it would only turn over, but would
not start. I couldn't hear the fuel pump engaging, so I checked the inertia
pump kill switch behind the kick panel, and it was not engaged. So, I
checked all the fuses and relays, they are good. So, I got a fuel pump,
replaced it, pump works and I am getting great pressure. But still wont
start. I am not a mechanic, so I didn't know how to check to see if I am
getting fire. SO, a friend of a friend came by, and test it and I am NOT
getting fire. I thought it may be the aftermarket alarm, but that would
disable the starter and it would not turn over, RIGHT? Please help
