why is my coolent fan startng when turned on and stays running until I turn car off

when i start my car the fan remains on until I turn my car off

either the fan control relay is stuck ON or the fan thermostat switch is bad . PBN

Sounds like your fan thermostate is naff, they are cheap enough to replace, if you are a dab hand with the spanners? Good luck

Do you have the A/C on as well. Fan will always run when A/C on. Otherwise Jason's advice would apply.
