How do I match wires from engine master wire set to the ETC motor.

Asked by Jun 15, 2017 at 01:36 PM about the 2004 Kia Amanti Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I was removing the intake manifold, the ETC wiring came apart in my
hands at the connector between the ETC plug and engine wiring. I have a
new connector but I don't know which wires go to which. The ETC side has
blue, green, tan and the engine side has yellow, green, tan. I tried the
obvious conections (tan-tan, green-green, yellow-blue but that's gives me
lots of codes.
