Seems a little soon to have a transfer case motor failure, but if it isn't used once a month it could get corroded depending on your climate. While someone pushes the button into 2WD light tap on the shift motor housing and hopefully it will run just long enough to get the case back into 2WD so you can at least drive normally until you can get another motor assembly. If it doesn't run then you will need to check the activation circuits to and from the actuator module for the 4X4 system.
