there is no hood release under the steering wheel. None anywhere under the dash. Who would design a car that the hood can't be manually opened???

You really need to read your owners manual!!!!!!! The release is where I said it was. Under the steering wheel and to the left. Owners manual section 11,7.

I’m not seeing a lever/pull under the dash or steering wheel either. Read your manual was not helpful.

it's small, far to the left, well under the dash...I had to get down on my knees and use a flashlight, but there it was...

Is there a way to release the hood latch from outside? My battery is stone dead. I can not open the driver's door to unlatch the hood latch Any ideas?

Have you ever had a situation where the key latch fell apart. My key will not open the door. The battery is stone dead and I have no way of releasing the hood latch Any ideas?

Please start a new thread. This one is two years old and can't be seen by everyone. Thanks
