Where is the gas tank sending unit on a 1979
Cadillac DeVille with a 425 V8? Is it attached
to the fuel pump? And do you have to drop
the tank to remove the sending unit and/or
fuel pump?

the gas sender unit will be mounted within the gas tank. your local shop with a qualified technician will be able to safely identify it and test it
