Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Heat gave out on my Taurus. I started it up put anti-freeze in it and it immediately blew hot
air. Later went to turn the car on and cool air again. What is going on?

Air pocket in the system is my the first thing I can think of, sometimes these can be a real bear to get out. The other thing is you have a blown head gasket and the engine is burning the coolant while it is running. Does the coolant level keep dropping? If it does then have a block check performed at a shop, that will tell you for sure.
