Catalytic converter

Asked by Apr 09, 2015 at 05:15 AM about the 2001 INFINITI G20 4 Dr STD Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Our car will start up immediately then Dir
unless u keep it foot on the pedal. And runs
rich every now and then. I installed a new
MAF sensor but it didn't help at all. Will a
plugged cat cause this?

Not likely. Sounds like a bad fuel pressure regulator or faulty fuel injector(s). HTH. - Jim
