1986 5.0 Crown Vic LTD Wagon - idle is fast and hunts
Hi,
So my wagon is running and on the road. one item to sort out is the high idle
speed.
In part it sometimes idles nice but sometimes way too fast.
When I put it in drive or reverse (load up the engine) it starts hunting. Wont stall
and once u push throttle runs without issue.
Is there a valve or a sensor to work on and could it be the pitiful condition of
the vacuum lines?
