What other engine's can bolt up to a 2004 F-350sd with a 6.0 diesel, can I put a 5.4 or some other gasoline engine in it?

Modular V8 pattern - 4.6L SOHC/DOHC V8 (later castings, F3VE and up) 5.0L Coyote DOHC V8 5.4L SOHC/DOHC V8 6.0L Navistar Power Stroke DI turbodiesel V8 [5R110 Automatic Only] 6.2L Boss SOHC V8 6.4L Navistar Power Stroke DI twin-turbo diesel V8 [5R110 Automatic Only] 6.7L "Scorpion" Ford Power Stroke DI turbo diesel V8 6.8L Triton SOHC V10 this is from a ford bellhousing reference - looks like you have a lot of Transmission options. It appears that all modular block motors share similar engine mounts, but i couldn't find a direct list of compatible motors, just references to modular block motors, of which the above motors are all members.
