Do you have roadside assistance to tow the vehicle off the freeway? Scan for the trouble codes with an OBDii scanner since the check engine light is on. You can purchase a scanner or have an auto part store scan the car for you, or a mechanic. The code should be able to tell you what the issue is. But with an oil light on as well, you maybe you are low on oil and or the oil pump is faulty and that is why the engine shut off on you. Is the oil at the correct level on the dipstick? If none, you have a major leak someone where and possible have engine damage.

That sounds like the engine lawsuit recall. It's for safety because some of these engines catch on fire or just shut down due to hybrid failure. Check your VIN for Recall 198 & Service Campaign 966
