My 2000 Ford explorer won't crank or start what could be the problem
does it make any noise eg. clicks
First, turn on headlights, and try to crank while someone watches headlights. If they dim nearly out, battery may be bad. If not, make sure its in park, and try placing gear selector in neutral and see if it cranks. The neutral safety switch could be bad, and older explorers antitheft will stop them from starting not cranking, newer I believe block cranking.
It'll turn over and act like it wanna start but won't crank.
cranking and turning over are the same thing so it will crank but not fire have you changed the spark plugs and wires
Will not turn over in park, but will in neutral. It don't do it all the time.
My 2000 explorer won't start after sitting for 1 hour, makes a clicking sound from under the steering wheel what do I do?
their is a control box under the steering wheel had this problem in a Malibu I had. it can either be replaced or I just cut the box off and hotwired the two wire together
